Telephone survey ~ service description
Telephone surveys offer a rapid a response service to clients.
By working from a central facility we are able to start a telephone survey soon after the questionnaire has been approved. This is in marked contrast to street or postal surveys where time is required for printing and distribution of questionnaires. Feedback is quicker too with telephone surveys.. There is no wait for questionnaires to be returned by street interviewers.
Telephone surveys also offer the opportunity to monitor responses and, if necessary, refine the questionnaire. An example of this is where respondents are clearly mis-understanding a particular question, the question can be almost immediately changed and the telephone survey continued without delaying the project or compromising quality.
Telephone survey sampling
Many projects will involve working from a client supplied list. These may be customers or potential customer or a bought-in list meeting the client’s specific criteria. We are able to source lists where required and can advise on the suitability of the list.
Other possibilities are random sampling using a Random Digit Dial sample. These bought in samples are purged to ensure that dead numbers, those registered with TPS and business numbers are excluded.
Telephone surveys provide more random and accurate results than postal surveys because the sample is less self-selective.
